Origin
Edel is Dutch and German for 'Noble' in the sense of birth, character or quality, and is derived from the Proto-Germanic root *aþalaz.
Appearances
- Edel is a town in Marcherose in Umi no Oriuta.
- In Sorcerian Forever, the Edel Robe (エーデルローブ) can be equipped by the Wizard and Elf and the Edel Armor (エーデルアーマー) by the Fighter and Dwarf. Both are hidden treasures found in the scenario 'The Bell Tolls at Midnight'.
- The department store Edel (エーデル百貨店) is a shopping mall in the city of Grancel in the Sora no Kiseki games.
- The Edel Staff (エーデルスタッフ) is one of Estelle's weapons in Sora no Kiseki SC.
- Also in Sora no Kiseki SC, the Edel Armor is a male-exclusive armor, described as having a beautiful sheen. The Edel Guarder (エーデルガーダー) is a companion piece of footwear described as having beautiful engravings.
- Edel is a student at Thors Military Academy in the Sen no Kiseki games and is the head of the Gardening Club during her time there.
