Origin
Based on the continent of Africa, the southwest-most segment of the Afro-Eurasian landmass
Appearances
- Afroca appears in the Ys Series and is the setting for Ys V and Ys VII, as well as being mentioned in other games.
Trivia
- Prior to setting on one romanization, the continent was sometimes identified as Afroka.
- According to the PC-88 manual of Ys I, Adol eventually travels to the southern tip of Afroca. This adventure has not yet appeared in a game.
- At the conclusion of Ys VIII, Ricotta and Thanatos went south to explore Afroca.
