Japanese: ケルベロス
Appears In: Sorcerian, A Tear of Vermillion, Zwei, Sen no Kiseki III-IV

Origin

The guardian hound of Hades in Greek Mythology born of Echidna and Typhon, usually depicted with three heads and a serpent tail. He was famously captured by Heracles as one of his twelve Labours. Its Latinized name is Cerberus.

  • Kerberos appears again in Gilgamesh Sorcerian as the boss of the scenario The Two-Headed Demon Dog.
  • In A Tear of Vermillion, Kerberos is the second of the five Fire Spirits and possesses the special skill Napalm Breath. In the PC-88 version the class that learns to summon him is the Kausis.
  • Kerberos (けろべろす) is an enemy encountered in multiple locations in Zwei.
  • In Sen no Kiseki, the Pit Kerbero (ピットケルベロ) is an enemy that appears on the third floor of the Old Schoolhouse.
  • In Sen no Kiseki III and IV, Kerberos is Jingo's adorable puppy- I mean fierce guard dog.
  • In Ys IX, one of Krysha's Skills is Kerberian Burst (ケルベリアンバースト).
