Peacemaker
Origin: English
Japanese: ピースメーカー
Appears In: Sen no Kiseki III

Origin

Aside from the obvious 'maker/creator of peace' meaning, the Peacemaker is also a reference to the Colt Single Action Army revolver known as the Peacemaker which was extremely popular with law enforcers, and to the AX-0 Peacemaker from the Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor anime series which was armed with both a baton and a revolver.

Appearances

  • The Peacemaker is Juna Crawford's first gunbreaker, appearing in Sen no Kiseki III. The weapon is noted to be a product of Crossbell's Police Academy.

Trivia

  • Terry Pratchett in his Discworld series got in on the fun as well by giving one of his characters in the Ankh-Morpork City Watch a crossbow called the Piecemaker. No, that's not a typo.
