Origin

Sara is a Hebrew name and means 'Lady' or 'Princess' and usually spelled Sarah, is a matriarch and prophetess in the Torah.

Valestin is one letter off from Valestine, the castle in Ys III. The names are written identically in katakana.

Appearances

  • Sara Valestine is the instructor to the original Class VII and appears in all four Sen no Kiseki games, being playable in all of them. In localization her last name was changed to Valestine to make the relation to the location in Ys more explicit.
