Sirius is the name of the star Alpha Canis Majoris, the brightest in the night sky. The name is derived from the Greek word Seirios, meaning 'Burning' or 'Scorching'.
Appearances
- The Sirius Whip (天狼鞭) is Scherazard Harvey's Zemurian Ore weapon in Sora no Kiseki SC, using the Japanese name for the star which literally means 'Wolf Star'.
- Sirius is a Wind-elemental Master Quartz in Sen no Kiseki III and IV initially equipped by Kurt Vander. The emblem references its astronomical usage, being a large eight-pointed star.
Trivia
- The Sirius Whip does not appear in the Japanese PC release of Sora no Kiseki SC, being added in the PSP and subsequent releases. XSEED was able to add it into the localized PC release of the game.
