Stahlritter
Origin: | German |
---|---|
Japanese: | 鉄機隊 |
Appears In: | Ao no Kiseki, Sen no Kiseki II-IV, Hajimari no Kiseki |
Origin
Stahlritter is a compound word in German which means literally 'Steel Knights'.
Appearances
- The Stahlritter first appear in Ao no Kiseki as a trio of armored and masked women accompanying Arianrhod to Crossbell. The head of the group, Duvalie, appears unmasked in Sen no Kiseki II and the full trio then appears in the remaining two games of the Erebonia arc and Hajimari no Kiseki.
Trivia
- Falcom has not given an official romanization for the term so 'Stahlritter' is a product of the localizations, starting with XSEED in Sen no Kiseki II. The term plays on the fact that 鉄機隊 is a homophone of 鉄騎隊, which has an official romanization. The phonetic match is acknowledged in-universe by Elie and Laura.
- The kanji that comprise the name literally means 'Iron Machine Regiment'.
