Astraea
Origin: Greek mythology
Source Name: Ἀστραῖα
Japanese: アストライアー
Appears In: Zero no Kiseki, Sen no Kiseki I-III

Origin

The Greek goddess of justice, innocence and purity. According to mythology, she fled the wickedness of the earth to become the constellation Virgo. Her name means 'star-maiden'.

Appearances

  • In Zero no Kiseki, Astraea is a staff used by Estelle Bright. Astraea's role as goddess of justice and innocence both fit Estelle well.
  • In the Sen no Kiseki games, St. Astraia Girls' School is an institution in Heimdallr which several major characters attend. The school's emblem is a unicorn, going with Astraea's association with purity.
