Origin
A mimosa is a cocktail made from sparkling wine and orange juice. The drink is named after Acacia dealbata, a flower also known as the mimosa which shares its color. The name comes from the Greek word Mimos, meaning 'Actor' or 'Mime'.

- Mimosa is also the traditional name for the star Beta Crucis.
