Origin

The region roughly corresponding to northern Spain is derived from the Celtici tribes who inhabited the geographical region corresponding to the location in Ys during the period of Roman expansion which Ys parallels.

Appearances

  • Celceta is the setting of all version of Ys IV, with Falcom's own version of the game incorporating it into its name.
  • The Celceta Flower (セルセタの花) is prized for its healing powers and appears in Ys II and all versions of IV, with the medicine being made from it (セルセタの秘薬) appearing in the latter and also Ys V. A garland of these flowers (セルセタの花飾り) appears in Memories of Celceta and Ys IX as an accessory.
