Origin

In Norse mythology Fafnir was the son of Hreidmar and the brother of Regin. When their father received Andvari's cursed ring, Fafner killed him, drove his brother away and then transformed himself into a dragon to guard his treasure. He was eventually killed by Sigurd.

Appearances

  • In Sen no Kiseki II, Gaius' Zemurian Ore weapon is Mighty Spear Fafnir (豪槍ファフニール)
  • In Sen no Kiseki III, it is mentioned that during the Erebonian Civil War, Ash Carbide formed a group of youths from Raquel to defend the city from bandits and named the group Fafnir.
