Origin: German, Greek Mythology
Source Name: Ἔρεβος
Japanese: 黒キ星杯
Appears In: Sen no Kiseki III

Origin

Gral is the German word for 'Grail', as in the Holy Grail. It's also an alternate form of Graal in Italian and Portugese, with the same meaning. Erebos (or Erebus) was a primordial Greek deity born from Chaos who was the personification of darkness. His name means 'Deep Darkness'.

Appearances

  • The Gral of Erebos is the former Primal Ground which used to exist beneath the city of Heimdallr in Erebonia. The Gral materializes at the end of Sen no Kiseki III on the site of Karel Imperial Villa and serves as the game's final dungeon.
