Origin

Gozu is Japanese for 'Ox-Head', a creature originally from Chinese mythology who guard the realm of the dead and serve as messengers for its ruler Yanluo Wang. It always appears together with its counterpart Mezu.

Appearances

  • Gozu Beast (ゴズ・ビースト) is an enemy in Sora no Kiseki The 3rd. It was localized by XSEED as Mael Beast.
  • Gozu (ゴーズ) is a Earth-elemental Master Quartz in Sen no Kiseki III and IV.
