Origin

Kuzuryuu literally means 'Nine-headed Dragon' and refers to a dragon said to have appeared in the Hakone region of Japan and demanded the sacrifice of a daughter from the nearby village. A Buddhist priest imprisoned the dragon before anyone could be sacrificed and the dragon later reformed.

Appearances

  • The Kuzuryuu Gauntlet (九頭龍甲) is the weapon Angelica Rogner uses in Sen no Kiseki III and IV.
