Origin
Oddr is Old Norse and means the point of a weapon, which is the root of Oddi ('third/additional number') and ultimately the English word Odd, in the sense of something unordinary or bizarre.

- The katakana can also be read as 'Odd' or Odr but with the Norse religion appearing in the game the root word seemed more appropriate, the former alternative didn't seem right and the latter is normally rendered differently in katakana.
