Japanese: | クレド・アイブリンガー |
Appears In: | Ys IX |
Origin
Credo is Latin for 'I believe' or 'I trust' and is the root of the English word Creed. It also refers to musical arrangements of liturgical creeds.
Aiblinger is likely a reference to the German composer Johann Caspar Aiblinger associated with the 19th century Cecilian Movement to reform church music.
Appearances
- Credo Aiblinger is the real identity of the Monstrum known as Hawk, and one of the playable characters in Ys IX. He was raised by a church-run orphanage and serves as a knight in the affiliated order of the Hieroglyph Knights, fitting both halves of his name.
