Appears In: | Umi no Oriuta |
Origin
Cruda is Spanish for 'Crude' in the sense of material in a natural state, as well as 'Harsh' or 'Brutal'.
Appearances
- Cruda is the location within the Numeros Empire where the wooden soldiers are produced by forced labor, fitting both senses of the word, from Umi no Oriuta.
Trivia
- Cruda is also used in Italian, with both words being derived from Latin where it is the feminine form of Crudus. However, the Spanish usage has additional implications that seemed especially significant.
