Origin

Esfinge is Portuguese and Spanish for 'Sphinx', derived from Latin and ultimately from the Ancient Greek. The mythological Sphinx was one of the offspring of Orthrus and either Echidna or the Chimaera. The word is also used to refer to the famous Great Sphinx of Giza.

Appearances

  • Esginge is the capital city of the Otherworld in Umi no Oriuta.
