Origin

In Norse mythology, Heidrun is a goat who consumes the leaves of the tree Laeradr and produces the mead consumed by the Einherjar. Her name contains the elements for 'Bright' and 'Secret'.

Appearances

  • Heidrun is a bar that can be visited in Star Trader.
  • In Sen no Kiseki II, one of the Cryptids that appears is Heidrun the Eternal Holy Beast (久遠の聖獣ヘイズルーン), localized as Sacred Beast Heidrun. It reappears in Hajimari no Kiseki.
  • Wisdom Staff Heidrun (賢杖ヘイズルーン) is Jules' strongest weapon in Ys IX.
