Origin

Hresvelgr is a jotunn in Norse mythology whose name means Corpse-Swallower. He is attested in the Vafthrudnismal where he is described as taking the shape of an eagle and being the source of the wind.

Appearances

  • In Sora no Kiseki FC and SC, Hresvelgr is a bird-like enemy that appears on Eisen Roda. A variant of the enemy called the Flamevelgr (フレイムベルグ) appears in Carnelia Tower.
  • Hresvelgr (フレスヴェルグ) is a sword usable by Credo Aiblinger in Ys IX.
