Origin

Derived from Thebes, the Greek name for the city in ancient Egypt which served as the capital during many of the Middle and New Kingdom dynasties. The name is a Grecian rendering of the Egpytian name for the Karnak temple complex located within the city and shares its name with a city in Greece itself.

Appearances

• The ruins of Sebe are visited in Ys V; the city was destroyed by Kefin in a war hundreds of years prior to the events of the game.
