Japanese: | ヴェルトルーナ |
Appears In: | Umi no Oriuta, Sora no Kiseki SC/The 3rd (Indirect) |
Origin
Weltluna is a portmanteau of the German word Welt ('World') and the Latin word Luna ('Moon'), hence 'World-Moon'.
Appearances
- Weltluna is the setting of the third and final game in the Gagharv Trilogy, Umi no Oriuta. Its name is quite appropriate given that the plot centers around two threats known as the Black Sun and the Otherworldly Moon.
- Weltluna is referenced indirectly in the Doll Knight books which appear in the second and third Sora no Kiseki games, which originally appeared in Umi no Oriuta.
Trivia
- A painting onboard the Lusitania in Sora no Kiseki The 3rd depicts the Gagharv from the perspective of the peak of the mountains in the far north of Weltluna.
