Disastro
Japanese: ディザストロ
Appears In: Ys IX

Origin

Disastro is Italian and the root of the English word Disaster. It derives from the Latin words Dis Astrum, the former meaning 'Asunder' or 'Reverse' and the latter beaning 'Star' (and hence loosely 'Evil Star') based upon the idea that celestial bodies could influence events on earth.

Appearances

  • Disastro is a large boss-type Larva that appears in Ys IX and whose shape resembles a stylized star.
