Rene is short for the French word Renaissance, meaning 'rebirth'. In Japanese that word is rendered ルネサンス.

Appearances

  • Rene Nygtilger is a boss originally appearing in Ys I which was reproduced via alchemy during the events of Ys IX, making its new name appropriate. It makes its reappearance at Evan Macha.
