Zector
Origin: Anime
Japanese: 紫の騎神ゼクトール
Appears In: Sen no Kiseki II-IV

Origin

Zector comes from Kyoushoku Soukou Guyver, where it is the name of one of the Hyper Zoanoids.

Appearances

  • Zector the Palatinate Knight is first mentioned but not named in the Black Records in Sen no Kiseki II. It first appears onscreen in Sen no Kiseki III with Rutger Claussell as its Awakener. The insectile antenna on its head and multiple gem-like insets in its chest and leg resemble features of the character from Guyver.

Trivia

  • In Sen no Kiseki II, Zector is referred to solely by its color and the word used in Japanese is Shikon (紫紺), a dark blue/purple color without an obvious English equivalent. From Sen no Kiseki III onwards it is usually referred to in Japanese solely by the first of those characters, Murasaki ('Purple').
  • Gu4n first coined Palatinate as the translation for 紫紺 when translating the Black Records, which was then adopted by XSEED.
