Origin
The Ice Maiden is a short story about the eponymous character written by the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen.
Appearances
- Claire Rieveldt is known as the Ice Maiden (or Icy Maiden in English) among the Ironbloods and first appears in Sen no Kiseki.
Trivia
- The protagonist of Andersen's story (a boy named Rudy) has a past similar to Claire's own, surviving an accident that killed the rest of their immediate family and being taken in by an uncle. In both stories, the character pursuing the truth of the accident they survived leads to further tragedy.
