Origin

Inferno is Italian for 'Hell' and is probably most recognizable as the first of the three sections of Dante Alighieri's poem The Divine Comedy, in which the narrator journeys through Hell. The word is derived from the Latin Infernus, literally meaning 'Beneath' with the same underworld connotations.

  • Hellish Axe Inferno (獄斧インフェルノ) is Ash Carbide's Zemurian Ore weapon in Sen no Kiseki III.
  • Dark Inferno (ダークインフェルノ) is a Skill usable by Jules in Ys IX.

Trivia

  • Ash's axe can only be made on a second playthrough.
