Meister
Origin: German
Japanese: マイスター
Appears In: Ao no Kiseki, Sen no Kiseki III-IV

Origin

Meister is German for 'Master' and is frequently used to indicate a master of some art or craft.

Appearances

  • The term Meister as an honorific is given to Jorg Rosenberg in Ao no Kiseki, renowned for his skill at making dolls, the machines used by Arc-en-Ciel and (unknown to most people) some of Ouroboros' advanced technology.
  • Once she joins the faculty of Thors Second Branch and takes over maintenance starting in Sen no Kiseki III, Valimar refers to Mint as Meister Mint.
  • The Meister Glove (マイスターグローブ) is an accessory in Sen no Kiseki III.

Trivia

  • In Nagano Mamoru's Five Star Stories universe, Meister is a proper title for a master mechanic. Falcom may have had this in mind as they've made multiple references to that series.
