Appears In: | Sen no Kiseki III |
Origin
A hero from German mythology whose name is a combination of the words for 'Victory' and 'Peace'. He first appeared in written accounts in the Nibelungenlied in the thirteenth century. He is the titular character of the third of Richard Wagner's four opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen.
Appearances
- The resurrected Crow Armbrust goes by the alias of 'Azure Siegfried' while working on behalf of the Gnomes in Sen no Kiseki III. He abandons the identity at the end of the game when his memories return.
Trivia
- In Wagner's retelling of the myth, the plot of the final opera is kicked off when Siegfried is tricked into drinking a magical potion that causes him to lose his memory, after which he is used to aid an enemy into harming one of his loved ones. The parallels with Crow in Sen III are immediately apparent.
