Origin
Kagutsuchi is a fire god and the son of Izanagi and Izanami, who burned his mother to death with his birth. Depending on the account, he was either killed by Izanagi and his body divided and forming volcanoes from his corpse and gods from his blood, or left alive but with another water god created to pacify him if he became enraged.
Appearances
- Kagutsuchi (カグツチ) is a sword usable by Anelace Elfead and Alan Richard in Sora no Kiseki The 3rd. Its description references the mythology by noting the flame-like patterns on the blade.
- Kagutsuchi (カグツチ) is a Fire-elemental Master Quartz in Sen no Kiseki III and IV, initially equipped by Rean Schwarzer. NISA localized the Quartz as Brigid.
