Morbian

Origin

The name is derived from the Gulf of Morbihan, an inland sea in Brittany, France. In Breton the name is written Mor-Bihan and means 'Little Sea'.

Appearances

  • Morbian is a river spirit who assists the protagonists in Ys IX and is described as the spirit of the Loare River.

Trivia

  • The region of France where Morbihan is located is the same geographic area where Esterior is found in Ys, though on the opposite side of the peninsula.
