Schmidt is a German name equivalent to the English 'Smith' and is derived from Schmied, which means 'Blacksmith'.
Appearances
- Professor G. Schmidt (G・シュミット博士) is first mentioned in Sora no Kiseki The 3rd as one of the three disciples of Professor Epstein. He is likewise mentioned but does not appear in Sen no Kiseki before appearing onscreen in Sen no Kiseki II and both subsequent games. As one of the disciples of Epstein and a pillar of the Orbal Revolution his name is extremely fitting.
