Arcadia

Source Name: Ἀρκαδία
Japanese: アルカディア
Appears In: Ao no Kiseki, Sen no Kiseki II-IV, Tokyo Xanadu

Origin

Arcadia is a region of Greece named for the mythological Arcas, believed in mythology to be the region home to the god Pan as well as other supernatural entities. In later writings the term acquired the connotation of a utopian paradise of untouched wilderness.

Appearances

  • Arcadia is a glove for Wazy Hemisphere in Ao no Kiseki. Its description mentions that it 'bears the name of Paradise'.
  • Treasured Sword Arcadia (宝剣アーケディア) is Aurelia Le Guin sword in Sen no Kiseki II through IV, being a sword forged by a famed artisan during the War of the Lions. Her custom Panzer Soldat bears a scaled-up version of the sword with the same name.
  • In Tokyo Xanadu, Arcadia is a Wind-elemental Master Core won from completing the Gate of Avalon minigame.

Trivia

  • The name of Aurelia's sword was first revealed in the Sept Archive book as her Soldat's weapon, with artwork implying that it was based on her personal weapon. This was confirmed in Sen no Kiseki III.
