Origin
Alternatively spelled spelled Aroundight, Aroundyght or Radondyght, this is a sword from the medieval Romance of Beves of Hamtoun dating to around the year 1300. In the story, Beves is told that the sword once belonged to the famed Lancelot, which is why the weapon is so commonly claimed to be the name of his sword, though it is a later and indirect association.
Appearances
- Arondight is a rapier used by Klose Rinz in Sora no Kiseki SC. The descriptive text notes that it once belonged to a famous knight, which could refer to either Lancelot or Beves. XSEED localized the weapon as Aerondight.
- Arondight is Jusis Albarea's second and strongest sword in Sen no Kiseki III.
