Origin

Artemis was the Greek goddess of the moon and of the hunt, the wilderness and the protector of girls. She is the older twin sister to Apollo and numbers among the Olympians. She is usually depicted carrying a bow, sometimes said to be made of gold and other times of sliver.

Appearances

  • In the manual for Sorcerian, the invocation for the Eradication and Shield magics call upon the aid of Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt (狩りの女神たるアルテミス).
  • The Artemis Heels (アルテミスヒール) are the most powerful female-exclusive footwear in Sora no Kiseki The 3rd.
  • Also appearing in The 3rd, the Arrow Angel enemy uses Artemis Arrow (アルテミスアロー) as one of her Crafts.
  • In Sen no Kiseki II, one of the Lost Arts is Artemis Tear (アルテミスティア) associated with the combined element 'The Moon'.
  • The Artemis Guarder (アルテミスガーダー) is an accessory in Ys IX.
