Origin

A portmanteau of the French words Gros ('Large' or 'Fat') and Porte ('Door' or figuratively 'Gate'), both words with Latin roots.

Appearances

  • The Grosporte is a hulking Larva that appears in Ys IX which creates mist that can summon other monsters.
