Origin

Calvary is derived from the Latin Calvariae Locus ('Place of the Skull') which is derived from the Greek wording in the Gospels of Matthew and Mark, describing the location outside the city of Jerusalem where Jesus was supposedly crucified.

Appearances

  • In Sora no Kiseki The 3rd, Calvary Cross (カルバリークロス) is a sword usable by Klose and Julia. Its description claims that it is used by holy knights sworn to Eidos.
  • Calvary Mace (カルバリー・メイス) is Yuuki's Soul Device in Tokyo Xanadu.
  • Calvary Edge (カルバリーエッジ) is a Time-elemental Art usable in Sen no Kiseki III and IV.
  • Also in Sen no Kiseki III, the Calvary Lancer (カルヴァリランサー) is a scorpion-like monster appearing in the Gral of Erebos
