Origin

Gilgamesh is the protagonist of the Epic of Gilgamesh, the earliest surviving work of literature in the world. The work was originally written in Akkadian and his name means roughly 'The Ancestor is a Young Man'. The character of Gilgamesh is generally agreed to have been based on an actual king who later became worshipped as a god.

Appearances

  • Gilgamesh Breaker is Rutger Claussell's S-Craft in Sen no Kiseki III and IV. Of note, one of the driving motivations of Gilgamesh was the pursuit of immortality, which Rutger has attained a form of by the time the games begin.
