Origin

A play on the mythological Goblin.

Appearances

• The Gublin is a small humanoid monster encountered in Mileanne Plains in Ys IX. It has a much larger counterpart called the Rob Gublin (ロブ・グブリン). A second variation encountered in Evan Macha is the Sol Gublin (ゾル・グブリン) which is cursed and has its shield fused to its arm; Sol is German for a colloid.
