Origin

Kurt is an alternate name for the sword Courtain or Curtana, usually wielded by Ogier the Dane in medieval epics. The name appears in the thirteenth century Old Norse compilation known as the Karlamagnus Saga which collected and translated Old French epics.

Appearances

  • Kurt Vander is a playable character and member of New Class VII, appearing in Sen no Kiseki III through Hajimari. Consequently he is Orie and Matteus' son and a distant descendant of Roland Vander.
