Origin

The various units within the Jaeger group Nidhoggr are all named after parts of the body in German, with larger units representing correspondingly larger parts.

- Kleiner Finger Platoon (クライナー・フィンガー小隊): Little Finger
- Linken Arm Regiment (リンケン・アルム連隊): Left Arm
- Magen Battalion (マーゲン大隊): Stomach
- Mund Platoon (ムント小隊): Mouth
- Nase Platoon (ナーゼ小隊): Nose
- Ohr Platoon (オーア小隊): Ear
- Rechten Arm Regiment (レヒツ・アルム連隊): Right Arm
- Zahn Platoon (ツァーン小隊): Tooth
- Zunge Platoon (ツンゲ小隊): Tongue
