Inquisitor Lution
Japanese: | 異端審問官ルーション |
---|---|
Appears In: | Ys IX |
Origin
Lution is based on Pierre Cauchon, the Bishop who oversaw the trial and execution of Jeanne d'Arc.
Appearances
- Lution appears in Ys IX as a monstrous Chimaera created by Zola; historically he played the same role in Hrotsvitha's trial as Cauchon did in the real world.
Trivia
- Though not apparent from the official romanization, Lution and Cauchon are pronounced similarly with the exception of the first syllable.
