Origin
Iris is Ancient Greek for 'Rainbow' and was personified as a goddess who served as a messenger for the Olympians. Iris is also a genus of flowers named for the same; in the 'language of flowers' the Iris means 'Good News' or 'Hope'.
Appearances
- Iris is a supporting character in Ys IX, rescued form Balduq by the Monstrum. Her real identity is that of Princess Eleanor.
