This appears to be a play on Chocobo (チョコボ), a species of large birds appearing in the Final Fantasy series which serve as the equivalent to horses.

Appearances

  • The Jocomo is a monstrous bird used by Gublins as a mount in Ys IX, encountered in the Weeping Hills.
